KENTON ROGERS’ RELEASE CELEBRATION AND FUNDRAISING BENEFIT FOR
“CONFESSION OF A PREACHA MAN”
God’s Son of Soul ™ Has Returned!

New York, NY – Finally, after more than a 10 year hiatus, Kenton Rogers has re-emerged to take his rightful place in the musical spotlight, with his brand new Urban/R&B single “Confession of a Preacha Man”, the first release, from his forthcoming project, “Reality √” . Referred to as the “much missed Kenton Rogers” by Gospel Flava’s Stan North, he’s back, and in full effect with this bold, soul stirring saga of a Preacher who’s tested, tempted and turned out by the spirit of lust.

In addition to his extensive musical repertoire, Mr. Rogers’ latest melodic contributions include his high energy performance singing “Jesus Will Fix It” on Bishop Paul S. Mortons’ compilation CD, “On Broken Pieces: A Hurricane Relief Project”. He’s also been a featured guest performer on the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon, hosted in New York, by Tony Orlando and Russ Salzburg of WWOR, Channel 9 for the past 3 years. Formerly with Blackberry Records, Kenton Rogers debuted nationally in a power-packed duet with Melvin Williams on “Time is Running Out” from the project “Live! in Living Color” .

To launch the new project and his national tour, Kenton will host a Release Celebration Fundraiser Benefit, Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Kennedy Center in New York, where he’ll be joined by guest artists Martha Wash, Doug E. Fresh, Kenny Bobien, YZ, Papi Shank, Tracy Shy, Nate Evans, Su Su Bobien, B. Wright, Anita Wells, Anthony Ponder & Ministry’s Desire, Big Husky, Mr. E, Turae, The Apostle Singers and many other guest celebrities.
